_ The 2022 Mora Half Marathon & 5K:

Mora Half Marathon & 5K

When: Saturday, August 20, 2022 7:30 A.M. Start (13.1) 7:45 A.M. Start (5K).  FREE kids race immediately after the start of the 5K.  Line up behind the 5K racers on Union by 7:45 and listen for your own start to run to the finish for your cookie! 

Race Location: The race starts in downtown Mora and finishes at the adjacent park.

In person registration/packet pick-up: Friday 5-7 p.m. & Saturday 6-7:00 a.m. behind the Vasaloppet Bldg., 100 Union Street S.

Race Events: 5K Run/Walk & 13.1 Mile Run

Entry Fees: $30 for Half Marathon and $20 for 5K

Advance Registration Due By: August 4, 2021

Additional Information:

Race Shirts provided for all participants pre-registered by August 4th, 2021

Awards

Half Marathon:
•Trophies awarded to the top overall three males and three females.
• Medals to the top three individual age group finishers.
• Medals to the top male and female Kanabec County finishers.
5K:
• Trophies awarded to the top overall male and female.
• Medals to the top three age group finishers.

Official timing for the half marathon will end 3 hours and 15 minutes after the start (15 minute per mile pace). You are welcome to complete your race if you are on the course past then; however, there will no longer be a timer or water stops available.
