_The 2022 Freeman Joplin Memorial Run:

The Joplin Memorial Run (JMR) is Joplin’s premier and largest running event. JMR is an event to honor the 161 victims from the 2011 Joplin Tornado as well as celebrate Joplin’s resilience in overcoming the destruction of 8000 structures. In 2022 the 11th annual event will be hosted on Saturday May 7 at Cunningham Park in Joplin. The events include the Freeman half-marathon, US Bank 4 person half marathon relay, Sparklight 10K, Liberty 5K, and Sign Designs Kid’s Run, on Saturday May 7. Packet Pickup is Friday May 6.
