_The 2022 Superhero 5K & Fun Run in the Bay:

Join us for the Superhero 5K &Fun Run in Bay St. Louis, MS where we will be celebrating Caregivers from all walks of life to include Nonprofessional Family Caregivers along with Professional Caregivers and Heroes to include Policemen, Nurses, Doctors, Firemen, Military, EMT.  We will be doing a special tribute to Lt.  Michael Boutte who was killed in action, and also Cayce Seal who was killed on duty.  We would love for everyone to walk in support of their favorite caregiver or walk in costume of your favorite Superhero (or even Villain).  All proceeds will go to support Mississippi Heroes in their Mission of Celebrating Caregivers by giving them a day off of fun and relaxation, or a care basket full of items that will offer them what they need to know they are supported, loved & hopefully something to relax with a portion of proceeds also going to the Lt. Michael Boutte Fund and Cayce Seal Fund. 

After the race, join us for a day-long celebration to include a car show hosted by The Misfits, a People's Choice for Favorite Home Brewer, a kids area, the annual Crawfish Cookoff sponsored by Dodge Champion Gulfport & music to include live music throughout the day with a headliner at night.  We will be looking for water table sponsors & sponsors for the overall event.  

RACE DETAILS: 
General Information:  
$35.00 to participate in 5K, timed by DIVATIMING, with medal and t-shirt to all participants
$25.00 if you are a Family Caregiver, Veteran, Police Officer, Fireman, EMT, Student or group pricing (show ID at check-in) with medal and t-shirt to all participants.
$25.00 to participate in Fun Run.   Your choice of medal or race t-shirt.  Option to purchase both. 

COURSE:   The course will start at Commagere in Bay St. Louis and go through Old Town, ending back at the start.  The race route will be posted soon.

POST RACE:  After the race you can stay and participate in the Mississippi Heroes Celebration that will include vendors & exhibitors, a kids area, music, crawfish, and a headliner in the evening.  The whole day will be to celebrate and appreciate our local caregivers & heroes.  

DOOR PRIZES:  Local merchant gift certificates and other prizes will be given in a random drawing. 

AWARDS:  All participants will receive a medal.  Grand Trophies go to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female runners, and top winners in the following age divisions: 12 & Under; 13-20; 21-30; 31-40; 41-50; 51-60; 61+

There will also be awards for the top Best Costumes:  1st, 2nd & 3rd place overall.
