It's Our Turn, Inc. is excited to be hosting the 9th annual Memorial Day Veterans 10k & 5k Race on Monday, May 30, 2022, at 7:00 am in Punta Gorda, Florida.

This year's race theme is one many of you have been waiting for...

Let's just say it's going to be a race that is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

We are thrilled to announce the 2022 theme will be honoring the newest branch of our armed services. The ones who stand ready every day, “Always Above,” the U.S. SPACE FORCE!! 

Online registration officially opens at 12:01 am on January 1, 2022.

The Memorial Day Veterans 10k & 5k is a live, in-person race limited to the first 300 participants! Runners are encouraged to sign up early. The virtual race is open to an unlimited number of participants worldwide. You won’t want to miss out on the comradery, patriotism, and military flair that has made this event a hometown favorite and great destination race.

Virtual Memorial Day Veterans 10K & 5K Race 

The virtual race is open to an unlimited number of runners worldwide. Run anywhere, anytime that is convenient for you. With your registration, you will be supporting our Veterans in need while receiving a unique Space Force theme race packet that includes a custom Nine Line race shirt and a custom Space Force finisher medal sent directly to your mailbox.

The Cause

A community celebrated patriotic running event honoring the U.S. Military is one of the many ways It's Our Turn, Inc. brings awareness to the area's beloved Veterans in need. It’s Our Turn, Inc. believes no veteran should live without a roof over their head and food to eat. When facing hard times, It’s Our Turn, Inc. is in a unique position to help Veterans in need of a hand up to get back on their feet. Race Day Information

Detailed instructions about packet pick-up and race day information will be emailed to race participants of the Memorial Day Veterans 10k & 5k Race two weeks prior to race day. There will be no race day registration for this event so be sure to sign up before the deadline! 

Race Registration Deadline is April 15, 2022 

Sign up early to avoid any chance of disappointment in missing out! Due to the extended time needed by our suppliers to order and receive shirts, medals, and awards, we cannot accept any more runners after April 15th. It’s also possible that the live race could sell out before April 15th, and that’s just another reason not to delay. The virtual race will be open until April 15th to an unlimited number of runners worldwide.
