2022 DARE 2 Tread the Trails..

• Half Marathon:- Run 13.1 Miles
• 10K Run:- Run 6.2 Miles
• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

_The 2022 DARE 2 Tread the Trails:

Jonesboro Police DARE will be hosting a 5k / 10k / half marathon timed trail run on October 15th.  The half marathon will consist of 2 loops with split timing.  You will start at Access 1 and end running next to Craighead forest lake.  On Sunday October 16th, we will have a fun mountain bike poker ride.  Participants will draw a poker cards at rest stops.  After the ride, the highest hand picks first, lowest hand picks next, and then we give all mountain bikers a ticket.  We will draw until all prizes are gone.  Participants can sign up for a running event on Saturday and sign up on the mountain bike poker ride on Sunday.

The course will consist of single track trail and a chat (rock) trail around part of Craighead forest lake.  Parking will be at access 1, access 2, and the main entrance to the park.

When you enter Craighead forest park, take the round about to the left and go below the dam.  The 1st entrance to the right is access 1.  The race will start on a paved walking trail that goes around the lake.
