Cross Country 5K
Third Annual!!! 
Jan 29 will be cold, no doubt, but you can sleep late, let it warm up a little, and then race a cross country 5K at Verdun Adventure Bound at 11:00 AM.  
To take the chill off, hot chocolate will be served around a roaring campfire at the finish line next to the pavilion.  

Supporting
This race is a fundraiser with all proceeds going to support Verdun Adventure Bound.  Verdun is a educational 501 (C)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to support youth and adult personal growth incorporating experiential learning and stewardship of the land on its 66 acre retreat facility. $25 Early Bird Special through 11:59pm Dec 31, 2021
$30 Pre-registration Jan 1 through 9:00am Jan 29.
$35 on race day at Verdun.
Long Sleeve Race T-Shirt included for those who pre-reg by Jan 15 at 11:59AM.  We will still collect T-Shirt size info, and we will have extra shirts, but they are not guaranteed after the cut-off.

Race Course
Verdun has a beautiful cross country course with just enough hills to make it interesting.  There is a lot of variety in surface and terrain... in and out of the woods, along side two ponds, over a couple streams (don't worry... foot bridges).  See the map below for the expected course (which may change if conditions dictate).
