NEW for the 2022 Season...the last race will have a marathon distance! The Wisconsin Trail Assail is walker friendly!

This registration is for the series. When registering, select the distance you would like to run at all the races. Don't worry you can change your distance anytime for free -- this includes changing your distance to the new marathon distance at the last race.

THIS IS A CUPLESS RACE!
The Wisconsin Trail Assail Series is a cupless series!

The idea of throwing 100,000+ cups in a landfill each year doesn’t seem in line with what most runners support. This has been in the works for 2+ years, but covid interrupted its implementation. Now is the time to do it!

Don’t worry, we’re NOT doing away with aid stations. There will still be aid stations with water and sports drinks at events, just no cups! You will need to bring a reusable cup with you. We are also expanding the areas for a bag drop where you can leave a nutrition/hydration bag.

WALKER FRIENDLY COURSES
While the Wisconsin Trail Assail Series course can be technical and challenging, they are also very walker friendly! Walker are welcome to join any race and any distance!

THE SILVER CIRCLE SPORTS GUARANTEE
Not sure about a trail run? Come out and try it. If you are not satisfied with our trail events, we will refund the entrance fee! No strings attached.

KIDDOS RUN FOR FREE
Kids can run the FREE Kiddo's 1K if a parent is running. They will get a bib and finisher medal, but they must be registered in order to run. Shirts are available for purchase during registration.

FREE FRESH FRUIT BAR
Check out our free, fresh fruit, finish line aid station.  Sure beats stale bagels and green bananas...

SERIES SCORING AND POINTS

TRAINING PLANS
Make the series part of your half marathon training plan by following Lisa Eliason's plan! Start with running the Taxman and Finish with a half marathon or marathon at Sweetest Day.

The program will include 3 main weekly quality workouts that will help runners build speed, strength and endurance. All other weekly workouts (not provided) should be easy aerobic miles or XT days. Programs will begin with the Run From The Taxman race and will incorporate all the WTA races as part of the training.

Beginner Plan | Intermediate Plan - both plans have a half marathon plan and full marathon plan. If you would like additional training, contact Coach Lisa!
