5Kevents has partnered with “Friends of Racine Parks Recreation and Cultural Services, Inc.” to raise funds for additional water safety equipment and safety awareness.
Please consider participating, donating or sponsoring this event to help keep Racine’s award-winning beach safer. This is a fun run/walk open to everyone, it will be timed with awards for top age group finishers. Each participant will receive a finisher’s medal, a goody bag, race bib, beverage, snacks, a full-size North Beach towel and a free entry into a post-race raffle.

LIVE or REMOTE options available. Come out and enjoy the run, follow it up with a swim at one of the most beautiful beaches this side of Lake Michigan while refreshing yourself with a nice cold brew compliments of 5Kevents.org.
This out and back course starts at the North Beach Oasis. Heading North on the paved bike trail, you have the beautiful view of Lake Michigan on your right, including North Beach which was most recently voted #4 in USA Today's 2016 Reader's Choice 10 Best Freshwater Beaches. Continuing then onto Michigan Blvd, turn around and come back to the finish.
Get your friends, co-workers, family, and relatives together for this fun, relaxing day in Downtown Racine! THIS IS A FUN RUN - Friendly competition is encouraged!
FRIDAY –July 15, 2022 - PRE-RACE PACKET PICK UP: Friday from 3 to 5:00 PM at the 5Kevents.org Resource Center in Downtown Racine - 215 6th Street, Racine, WI 53403 – Stop in and pick up your Race Swag, etc.
SATURDAY – July 16, 2022 - RACE DAY: 8:00 am (race starts at 9am)
Directions to start:
Start/Finish location at the North Beach Oasis. Going east on Barker Street, turn left on Hoffert Drive. There will be flags indicating the start line as well as a banner that shows where the finish will be. These will both be located on the bike path in front of the North Beach Oasis.
The parking lot at the Oasis as well as ample additional parking nearby.
