_The 2022 San Francisco 5K & Polar Plunge for Special Olympics:
Join Special Olympics Northern California for the Bay Area’s coolest event of the year – the San Francisco 5K Fun Run for Special Olympics. Each participant will also receive a finisher medal. As you run the beautiful course, you’ll enjoy majestic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Chrissy Field and the Bay!
This event is part of the San Francisco 5K & Polar Plunge event. Participants are encouraged to dress in costume!

8:30a.m. - 5K Registration Open
9:45a.m. - Opening Ceremony
10a.m. - 5K Fun Run Begins & Plunge Registration Opens
10:30a.m. - Meal service beings for those who raise $125 or more
11:30a.m. - All racers clear the course
11:40a.m. - Costume Judging and Awards
12 noon - PLUNGE
