_The 2022 RunDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend:

Join the Scott Carter Foundation and Celebrate Walt Disney World® Resort's 50th anniversary during the inaugural runDisney Springtime Weekend to make a difference in Children’s Cancer Research!

2022 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend

March 31 - April 3, 2022

Run down familiar courses inspired by fan-favorite races, including Expedition Everest 5K, Race for the Taste 10K and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ 10-Miler—with some added twists and turns.

We may not be quite ready to bring back every element of a runDisney race weekend as COVID-19 guidelines may change before our return to in-person running. Please visit our runDisney Return to In-Person Running page for the latest information.

During the race weekends we may implement health and safety measures, such as face coverings, physical distancing and other requirements if they are deemed appropriate.

About SCF

Scott Carter was a 13-year old boy who died in December 1993 after a courageous three-year battle with bone cancer.  The Scott Carter Foundation was formed to help make Scott’s dream of finding a cure a reality.  Because SCF is operated by volunteers, almost all money raised will go toward finding a cure.  Scott believed that if enough time, energy and money were devoted to children’s cancer research, a cure could be found.  Please join us as we run through World Disney World®, as Scott did as a child, and make a difference for children’s cancer research! www.scottcarterfoundation.org

All runners are required to pay entry fees and fundraise a minimum of $250 for SCF.  Runners pay their entry fees here then setup a fundraising page or make a donation to meet the fundraising requirement.  Fundraising is due no later than the Monday before the event.  If the minimum is not met, runDisney will not release your bib and you will not be permitted to particpate in the event. runDisney has a policy of no refunds.  SCF is required to follow all runDisney policies.  Runners can find full policy information on runDisney.com.

Participants must attend Race Bib Pick-Up at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo to receive their race bib and participant shirt. Finisher medals will be distributed to finishers at the conclusion of their race. No items will be mailed to registrants that did not participate.

Dates, times, locations, prices and inclusions subject to change. All races are subject to capacity limits and may close at any time before the website can be updated. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Disney reserves the right to refuse the entry into, and/or revoke any registration for, any race for any reason in its sole discretion with refund of any applicable registration fees being the sole remedy of any such refusal and/or revocation.
