_The 2022 Sunrise Half Marathon & 5K:

 The Sunrise Half Marathon and 5k will take place in the centrally located Markham Park in Sunrise, Florida. Come and see why over a million people visit Markham Park each year.

Markham Park is home to the Fox Observatory, a radio controlled airplane field, a dog park called Barkham Park, biking and jogging trails, fishing and boating areas, a tennis and racquetball center, volleyball, a swimming pool complex with a mist pool, snack bar, a shooting range, lockers and showers/restrooms. Sawgrass features immaculate landscaping along its winding paths and beautiful lake views.

 The Half Marathon winds through Markham Park and utilizes the New River Greenway along the New River. The 5k will remain inside Markham Park. Both races are spectator friendly.  

Additional Information & Event Schedule:

Start Time 5k and Half Marathon: 6:30am

Time Limit: 3.5 hours

Shirts: Each participant will receive a colorful commemorative dry fit tech shirt.

Parking: There is ample parking at Markham Park where the race starts and ends.

Water Stops: There will be water and gatorade at the water stops approximately every 2 miles.

Race Day Packet Pick Up:

5:30-6:30am at Markham Park
