_ The 7th Annual Pounding For Paws 5K Run/Walk and  Run At Home:

Come join us for the 7th ANNUAL POUNDING FOR PAWS 5K RUN/WALK in Jefferson, GA at the Arcade City Park.   Dogs are welcome but they MUST be well behaved, vaccinated and on a leash. Please clean up after your pet.

Event details and schedule

Race day registration and packet pickup: Begins at 7:00AM

Please bring one bag of dog food or cat food on the day of the race.

5K: Starts at 8:00AM

Awards: Awards will be given to Overall M/F, Masters M/F, GrandMasters M/F, Senior GrandMasters M/F and to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in standars 5-year age groups starting at 10 and under going through 80 and over.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts will be guaranteed to those who register by 3/25/22.  Those who register after that date and on race day will receive shirts while supplies last.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classiconestop.com, www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2022 Black Bag Race Series and Clover Glove Race Series

Other Info: In case of rain, the race will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
