Description

We are celebrating 40 years of Coal Mountain Elementary School. Whether you are a current or former student, parent, faculty member, or community member you have played a vital role in our school's legacy and we hope you will join us in celebrating this milestone! 

Join us on the Coal Mountain Campus for a family day!

Run our 5k or Kids Fun Run and then stay and enjoy games, food trucks, and other activities. Both races will be held on the paved streets of Coal Mountain Elementary and the surrounding school's campuses.

Regular Registration (ends 3/11/2022):

5K:  $30
Fun Run:  $25
Save $5 with "NO SHIRT" option during registration

Race Day Registration:

5K:  $35
Fun Run:  $30

*Race shirts are guaranteed with registration through 3/6/22  After 3/6/22, shirts & sizes will be available while supplies last.

PACKET PICKUP INFORMATION

Race Day Packet Pickup:
Check in opens at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, March 12th, but remember race start time is 9:00 a.m. sharp!

All 5K participants registered on or by March 6th are guaranteed an awesome shirt!  

5K Awards as follows:

• Top 3 in 5 Year age groups (10 & Under - 75+)

FIVE STAR TURKEY TROT & CHAMPIONSHIPS

This is one of your first chances to qualify for (1) free entry into one of our Turkey Trots & also to qualify for our Championship 5K/10K!
 

All participants will automatically qualify for (1) FREE entry into one of the 2022 Five Star Thanksgiving Turkey Trots. See event website
 

Top finishers will also have the opportunity to earn a spot in the Championships held on January 8, 2023. The number of spots available is based on the total registration. See event website

EVENT COURTESY & REFUND POLICY

Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike
conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.

All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.  The policy is in place to cover operational costs incurred well before the event takes place.

Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.

Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.

No COVID-19 Refunds.  If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided.  The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
