_The 2022 St Pats 5k & 1.5 Mile Walk:

The 37th annual St. Patrick's Day 5000 Meter Run is a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday while supporting the Forest Lake Area Trail System! All registered runners and walkers receive a T-shirt, post race refreshments, and a chance to win door prizes!

Race Schedule

The race will start promptly at 5:30 P.M. at  111 S Elson St, Kirksville, MO 63501. Both the 5K run and 1.5 mile walk will start at the same time.The course will start and end at the same location. The course is mostly flat running on Kirksville streets with some hills throughout. 

Race bibs are to be worn on the lower front of your outerwear. Please DO NOT detach the pull tab on lower part of the race bib!

Packet Pickup

Pick up packets at Thompson Campus Center (210 S. Osteopathy St., Kirksville MO.) March 16 noon-10:00 P.M. OR March 17 at Dukumn after 4:00 P.M.

Entry Fees

$20 for early registration (Deadline of March 14th, 5:00 P.M.)

$25 for late registration (5:00 P.M. March 14th - 5:00 P.M. race day)

Make checks payable to ATSU TCC.

You can also mail or bring payment to ATSU TCC, 210 S. Osteopathy St., Kirksville, MO 63501.

Awards & Results

Awards ceremony immediately following the race at Dukum Inn - merchandise drawing and refreshments provided.

Top three runners in each age or weight division receive medals.

The 5K & 1.5 mile overall fastest male and female runners recieve trophies.

Men & Women: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Inclement Weather Policy

We run rain or shine! In case of inclement weather, management reserves the right to delay the start or cancel/alter/modify the race/course for the safety of runners or volunteers. Please monitor the weather and any communications sent out from the race director to make sure you are prepared and remember that each runner needs to make their own independent determination of whether to run given race day conditions based on their health, training, and personal comfort level.
