_ The 2022 Youth Learn to Run:
Description
This will be a great Place for all ages to start running. We will start with a dynamic warm up. Next, we will use a run/walk formula to get u ready to run up to 2 miles without stopping by the end. We will teach proper form, breathing techniques, and how to keep the right pace for you. We will work on some smaller hills and do some sprints to build our endurance. We will focus on how to properly stretch and cool down. This program will be for all levels and no runner will be left behind or alone. Let's make running fun and get outdoors and in shape! This program will lead into the GET Fit 5k and 2-mile run/walk which will be held on June 11th at 8am. This run is optional but a great way to work towards a goal and up to a race.
Please bring water and tennis/ running shoes.
There will be no meeting Thursday May 5th
