Directions

Prophetstown Eclipse square memorial park can be reached by I-80 or I-88 and exiting onto IL Rt. 78 then heading south from I-88 or north from I-80. After reaching Prophetstown, watch for directional signs. The park is located on the south side of the Rock River within the city limits of Prophetstown on the corner of E railroad street and route 78. 

DESCRIPTION:

Join us for the 2nd annual 5k race in Prophetstown Illinois in memory of late John Crady who was an avid runner. I am pleased to announce that we have teamed up with Prophetstown XC coach Elizabeth green who has been a big help and will bring a lot of knowledge to the table as we plan for our second  year of this race.We will have a kids mile fun run starting at 7:00am and the 5k will start at 8:00am.Proceeds and any donations will go to the prophetstown panthers high school and middle school golf team and cross country team.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Starting line will be in front of the eclipse square memorial park on east railroad street which turns into Woodlawn street and will continue out to a T intersection go right will put you on Lyndon road then a short distance you will turn left on mill road till you reach the cone and then you will turn around and head back to finish line.

PARKING:

Parking will be marked day of race 

AWARDS: 

Top male and female participants will be recognized, as well as top finishers in each age group.As well as this year we have added age groups for the 1 mile fun run and also added a masters division.
