_ The 2022 "Live Your Dash" The Dee Smith Memorial 5K Fun Run/Walk:

Dee Smith, a lifetime Ogden resident and a Weber County leader, was a proponent of keeping our community safe. As a former county prosecutor, leader, mentor, and teacher, Dee was a diligent civil leader to local law enforcement officers.

Dee passed away unexpectedly in June 2021 and left behind a legacy of hard work along with his amazing family and countless friends. Dee was passionate about being active and loved biking, running, hiking, and any outdoor activity under the "Blue Dome." He lived life to the fullest, by living "his dash," and is greatly missed.

The purpose of the race is to honor Dee's memory and a make a thoughtful donation to support local programs important to Dee.  ALL donations will support youth reading programs in the community and local law enforcement scholarship funds, which support the Police Academy and Criminal Justice Scholarships at Weber State University.

Your race fee(s), donations, are tax deductible.  We will email you a donation receipt.  Please keep your receipt as it is your official record to claim your donation as a tax deduction.

Race Fees

• Pre-Race Fee (must register by 5/1/2022)
  • Adults (18 and older) $25.00.  Registration includes a commemorative shirt.
  • Youth (5 to 17 year olds) $10.00.  Registration includes a commemorative shirt.
  • Children (4 and under) Free
• Day of Race Fee:
  • Adults (18 and older) $30.00.  T-shirts are not guaranteed; subject to availability 
  • Youth (17 and under) $15.00. T-shirts are not guaranteed; subject to availability
  • Children (4 and under) Free

• First place winners (male, female, male and female youth) will win a commemorative keepsake
• In addition to the race, there will be a raffle drawing with lots of great prizes donated by the community. Arrive at the race early to purchase your raffle tickets! The drawing will start immediately after the race.
