_ The 2022 Sunflower Elementary Community Fun Run/Walk:

The purpose of this non-competitive race is to bring the Sunflower Elementary and Lawrence community together to support health, wellness, and connection. The race start will take place at Sunflower Elementary School in the beautiful Lawrence, KS, and consist of a loop circling the Sunflower and Southwest Middle School property that is partially off-road on grass and partially on paved sidewalk. Participants can run/walk from one to three loops based on preference and volunteers will be present to help with lap counting. The finish line of the race is on the Southwest Middle School Track.  T-shirts can be picked up at Sunflower the morning of the race from 7:30 to 8:45am. Payment can also be made in person via check or cash the morning of the race.  *Extra donations provided will go towards providing t-shirts to runners and current/future race needs.
