_ The 2022 Arkansas Run For The Fallen 5K:

At this time we are planning for both an in person and virtual 5K, but with the recent uptick in cases, please understand that we may have to hold a virtual only 5K this year. 

We are excited to announce that this year we will again have honor bibs. These bibs say "I'm running in honor of..." and you will be able to write in the name of the fallen hero you would like to run in honor of. The first 100 participants will also receive a memorial bracelet in honor of one an Arkansas Fallen Hero. 

If we are able to hold an in person 5K event, runners participating in person will need to be able to maintain a 10 minute pace for the 5K. This is not a race. Rather, it is a memorial run where participants run as a group to collectively honor the fallen heroes who were individually honored over the weekend.  Runners will need to report to the state Capitol on March 20th at 1 PM to be transported to the start of the run.  The run will conclude at the state Capitol at approximately 2:15 pm and will be followed by a closing ceremony at 2:30 pm. 

To ensure you receive a run shirt, registration must be submitted by March 1, 2022. The cost to register for the 5k is $35.
