_ The 2022 Hope for the Holidays Half Marathon and 5k in Memory of Garrett Yeager:
The race is being held to honor the memory of Garrett Yeager beloved friend, son, and father. All proceeds will be donated in his memory to Special Olympics of Batesville and New Hope Refuge. New Hope Refuge is a Christ centered ministry where women with addictions can find a new life through Jesus Christ. Both of these organization's mean a lot to the Yeager family and help many family's through out Arkansas. With this course you get a little bit of everything. Starting out in the beautiful Eagle Mountain neighborhood before heading over to the beautiful campus of Lyon College, once at Lyon you will jump on the 3/4 mile trail section of the course, upon exiting the trail you will run the country roads leading back to the main highway to work your way back to Eagle Mountain.
Each participant will receive a finishers medal and race hoodie. Race registration will cut off on November 11th to be guaranteed a hoodie. Packet pickup will be race morning starting at 630 until 7:45.
Rather than giving age group awards we give a really nice hoodie along with a nice finisher medal.
