_ The 2022 TMC Biosphere 15k & 5k + Cox Family Mile:

We're coming back to the world-famous Biosphere 2 for the 2022 edition! Check out https://biosphere2.org for all the details on this beautiful location at 32540 Biosphere Road, in Oracle, Arizona, nestled in the western foothills of the majestic Catalina Mountains.

Interested in Registering? Three Distances to Choose From:

* TMC 15k.  We've crafted a beautiful 9.3 mile race that includes Biosphere Road and Biosphere 2 property that guests don't normally get to see. 

* Biosphere 2 5k Run/Walk: Our 5k has partnered with the previously-cancelled EarthDay 5k, and will be a hilly road course on the grounds of the Biosphere 2.

* Cox Family Mile, a SAR FitKidz event: our free family one mile will cover an out and back on the grounds of Biosphere 2.

Beneficiaries: Thanks to TMC, COX, and the generosity of race participants, over $15,000 will be distributed from this race to our non-profit friends: The Biosphere 2, Step up to Justice, Team Hoyt Arizona, the BEYOND-Tucson Foundation, and the Southern Arizona Roadrunners.

RACE WEEKEND SCHEDULE

Saturday, October 22, Registration and Packet Pickup
10:00 am - 1:00 pm, at The Running Shop, 3055 North Campbell Ave

All shirts and race bib numbers will be inside the Running Shop. 

Yes: You can pick up items for friends -- please limit the number of packet pickups if it is crowded
Yes: Shirts come in both standard unisex and v-neck cut
Yes: T-shirt sizing first come, first served for all those who registered before September 9th.
Yes: Please follow the Running Shop's posted public health protocols. 
Yes: It may be crowded, but please be kind to the staff at the Running Shop and the volunteers.
YES: people can still register -- cash or check only, no shirt or medal until September 20th. 
Yes: You can pick up your race schwag in person, then do the event virtually. We'll post the virtual result link soon!

7:00 am Start TMC 15k Race -- for all ages, all abilities, all bodies, with prize money and age group awards
Gun-time for all prize money awards 
All age-group awards are based on chip time
No official 15k start allowed after 7:10 am

7:15 am Start 5k Fun Run/Walk -- for all ages, all abilities, all bodies
The race is chip-timed
Runners may start at any time between 7:15-7:30

8:50 am or so Cox Charities SAR FitKidz Mile Begins

9:30 or so Awards
