The Scandinavian School and Cultural Center Second Annual Viking Run Saturday April 9, 2022.

Come run, skip or walk like a Viking! April 9, 2022, is the date for SSCC's 2nd annual Viking run, and we want YOU to join us!  Bring your friends, family and fellow vikings to this 5K fun run in Golden Gate Park on Saturday April 9, at 8:30AM.

 Prizes given to the top three finishers and best costume, so put your running/walking shoes on and come join the fun! New for this year is that you can also sign up and run as a team. Plenty of time to socialize with your fellow vikings after and during the race. Light food and beverages will be served and a bouncy house set up for the little ones. 

 Why should the big vikings have all the fun? Our run features two kids dash distances for the little vikings to enjoy their own race (80 yrds 2-3 years, 200 yrds 4-6 years ), as well as a 2k run for children 7-14 years old.

Itinerary:

7:45 AM Registration opens
8:15 AM Viking Warm Up
8:30 AM The race begins! First runners, then walkers and strollers and kids.
9:45 AM Kids dash (80 yrds 2-3 years, 200 yrds 4-6 years)
10:15 Winners for costume and runs announced
