COME WELCOME THE NEW CHICKENS TO THE FARM!

For many years, the Chicken Run has been a way to start the farm season and welcome the new baby chicks to the farm and to support the Strong Family Farm, Vernon’s nonprofit community farm located in the center of Vernon, CT.    

The Strong family along with a large number of the community members are committed to seeing that the beloved 7 generation Strong family farm is preserved in order to provide an agricultural education center where everyone can experience an authentic family farm environment.  This doesn’t come cheap. Our yearly Chicken Run is our biggest and most successful fundraiser - thanks to all our sponsors and participants!  Won’t you join them?   Register on this site!
