_ The 2022 Sprint for Monroe Run/Walk:

The premier Monroe road race that began 30 years ago as a local Jaycees community-service project with just over 200 runners has evolved over the years to become a major regional 5K race and fun run.  The 5K course features several rolling hills, great crowd support and a water stop at mile 2.  Tech T shirts and race bags with generous gifts are provided.  We also feature a large post race spread of food and beverages.  All proceeds are donated to local charities.

This year we are running a hybrid event.  Our in person field is currently limited to 400 participants.  You can also sign up to run the event virtually.  This way we can continue the race tradition, raise some much needed funds and still maintain a safe and healthy race.   Every participant, whether in person or virtual gets a T shirt, either picked up locally or shipped for an added fee.  Virtual participants will be listed in the results if they choose to submit their time via RunSignup.
