_ The 2022 Ruben’s Race:

On March 18, 2012, our world was forever turned upside down. Sergeant Ruben Howard Thomas III lost his life protecting and serving the community. This year will mark 10 years since his passing. Our family wanted to remember him by putting on a 5k race. Ruben use to love to have races in the yard, down the road and always claimed to be the fastest so we figured a 5k would be the perfect way to remember him and to give back to the community.  The proceeds will be put towards a scholarship in Ruben’s name at CHS High School where Ruben attended and graduated. We hope that you can join us in remembering him.
