_ The 2022 Lakeland Police Foundation Fallen Heroes Memorial 5k:
The Annual Fallen Heroes Memorial 5K run generates funds to maintain Lakeland's Fallen Heroes Memorial and to support the families of police officers in their moments of need, just as they support us in our greatest moments of need. EARLY PACKET PICK-UP
Packets and bibs can be picked up at the Lakeland Police Department on Thursday, May 19 or Friday, May 20 between the hours of 4:00PM and 7:30PM. Pickup area will be at the Fallen Heroes Memorial at the entrance of the station. DAY OF RACE PACKET PICKUP:
Packets can also be picked up race morning between the hours of 6:00AM and 7:00AM at the YMCA. Expect longer lines on race morning, however. On site registration will be open until 7:00 a.m. PARKING:
The parking areas for the event will be in the grassy areas on the south side of the YMCA. Volunteers will be in the parking area to assist. Please DO NOT park in the YMCA lot or at the veterinary clinic next door! You may be towed if you park in these areas.
Every participant will receive a finisher medal.
Placement medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age 5-year age bracket.
