_ The 2022 Blessing of the Fleet 5k and Fun Run:

The Blessing of the Fleet is an annual festival organized by the  Darien-McIntosh County Chamber of Commerce to celebrate our biggest industry, shrimping. This three day fun-filled event consists of various activities including the very popular YMCA 5k! The race will take runners through the picturesque and historic center of Darien, GA.

Race date is April 2nd, 2022.

Runners will receive a custom water bottle and FREE entry into the Blessing of the Fleet Festival

Age groups awards: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-24, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, and 90 and over

Pre Race Packet Pick Up will be held on Friday April 1st from 4pm-7pm at the Darien Lions Club, 905 East Broad Street Darien, Ga 31305

Race day registration is $40 and starts at 6:30 a.m.
