_ The 3rd Annual Broadway Color Run/Walk Party:

On May 21, 2022 the community of Broadway, VA is having it's 3rd Annual Color Run/Walk Event . . . it's a Party!  It is a 5k race with stations along the way where participants get sprayed with colors or doused with colored powder.  The route is within the city limits of Broadway, VA.  The route starts and ends at Broadway HS.  The event is hosted by 2 elementary schools in the area:   John C. Myers ES and Lacey Spring ES.  The Party starts on Saturday, May 21st at 7:30am for registration needs and 1st race at 8:30am with heats every 10 mins.  We will have a DJ to get your grove on, mascots from our schools - who can dance, food trucks to grab yummy food before or after the race, prizes from our awesome sponsors, and more.  Each participant that registers gets an event t-shirt and a number.  We will have a Packet Pick-up Party on Friday, May 20th, 6-8pm at John C Myers ES for participants who want to get their materials the day before and sign up for a heat.  We will have our DJ and food trucks there too.  We are having a Kick-off Event Party in April 27th at Broadway HS, as well, from 6-8pm.  You can register at this time in person if wish or just come out to dance, take pictures, participate in a raffle, and enjoy food from our yummy food truck . . . the fun never ends so join the party!
