_ The 2022 Helping Hands 10k & 5k:

Helping Hands is our Non-Profit Organization of Egnite Fitness which focuses on health and wellness of the community. As of January 2020, Georgia had an estimated 10,234 experiencing homelessness on any given day, as reported by Continuums of Care to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Our mission to the community is to hep those in need who have fell to homelessness with providing meals, healthcare pamphlets, clothing, hygiene care items, blankets, and housing essentials.                    

 Numerous men, ladies, and children were as of now living on the boulevards when the widespread started – they had no domestic to require protect in. The COVID-19 widespread has driven to a rise in homelessness. People started losing employments which has led to the uprise in homelessness. Join us at Piedmont Park to support and have some fun. Live music and food and awards will be present after the race so be sure to stick around. Strollers, and service dogs are allowed along the course but must start in the back to not disrupt runners and for safety. No hoverboards, unauthorized bikes, rollerblades, are allowed on the course. 

By signing up you are helping us continue our mission and helps those who are unfortunate. Sign up early for early bird pricing and to guarantee t-shirt. T Shirt cut-off September 1st, 2022. Race timing is sponsored by Atlas Timing. Timing pods will be passed out on race day only and must be returned after event. Failure to return timing pod will result in $50 fee. Timing pods can be worn on wrist (recommended), ankle or shoe. Start location will be on the grass turf area located next to the botanical garden parking lot. Take the stairs located before the parking lot to start area. If you are walking the stairs will be on the right hand side.

Early Bird Pricing

• April 1st-June 1st
• 10k-$50, 5k-$40
• June 2nd-September 1st
• 10k-$60, 5k-$50
• September 2nd-November 15th
• 10k-$70, 5k-$60

NO REFUNDS ARE ALLOWED

We do allow transfers to our other races.events, reach out to customer service for assistance. 

Awards will be given to overall female/male and top 3 runners. Stay tuned for our medal design! Volunteers interested in helping please sign up through registration link.
