_The 2022 Jeanne Richie Memorial Puddle Jump:

The Jeanne Richie Memorial Puddle Jump is a fun run/walk that benefits Longfellow Elementary School in Eau Claire, WI. The Puddle Jump directly impacts our students as it funds our after-school program, wellness programming for our students, academic support, and enrichment programming. The Puddle Jump operates on a minimal budget to ensure our students see the maximum benefit from the event.

2022 Event

• In-person race day is Saturday, April 23 at 9:00am.
• Virtual means you will run or walk a 5k on your own or with a small group of friends and family in a location of your choosing between April 17 and 30.

Registration

Online registration closes on Friday, April 15, 2022. There will be same-day registration available from 7:30am-8:30am.

• $15 - price for ages 12 and under (discount will automatically be applied at check-out)
• $25 - price for ages 13 and up

T-shirt Deadline

All participants who register by April 1st will receive a short-sleeved t-shirt.

Team Challenge

Join a team or create a new one during the registration process. In addition to bragging rights, the team with the highest number of pre-registered runners/walkers will win a “traveling trophy,” and their team name published in the Eau Claire Leader Telegram!  

Event Details

This race will not be chip timed. Strollers are welcome but we ask that you refrain from bringing rollerblades, bicycles or animals. The race will happen rain or shine and because this is a fundraiser, no refunds will be given.

Packet Pickup

• Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 4:00-6:00pm at Longfellow Elementary School, 500 Balcom Street (enter through door 2)
• Saturday, April 23, 2022 (race day) from 7:30-8:30am at Phoenix Park
