_ The 2023 Run for Bob 5k:

We run in Memory of Robert “Bob” Smith.  He passed away from health issues on May 10th, 2019.  Bob was a huge inspiration to everyone he met.  He was very active in the local running community.  At the age of 77, he participated in countless races.  The man always had a smile on his face and words of encouragement to any and everyone.  He never met a stranger.  He simply made the world a better place.  In loving memory of him, we will hold this event the first Sunday in March each year.  Proceeds will go directly to a non profit organization in memory of Bob, as well as scholarships for local high school seniors.
