_ The 2022 Kennebec Mountain Run:

The Kennebec Mountain Run is the ONLY trail race in the La Plata Mountains, just west of Durango, Colorado. Test your alpine running skills on this 15-mile course that features 3,100 feet of elevation gain and tops out at 12,200 feet through Kennebec Pass! Enjoy sweeping views of the Animas River and Dolores River valleys. Proceeds benefit the Durango Running Club and La Plata County Search & Rescue.
