_ The 2022 Race Through the Woods:

Join Midcoast Conservancy for the 11th Annual Race Through The Woods trail race, sponsored by First National Bank and Trail Monster Running on Saturday, September 24 at Hidden Valley Nature Center in Jefferson, Maine.  Racers will have two course options to choose from: a 13 mile or a shorter 5 mile race.  This single loop course brings you over steep hills, through the woods, past beautiful ponds and has about 1,000 feet elevation with lots of technical single track. We may be biased, but it's one of the most fun (and hard!) trail races you'll run. Race fees are $35 for the 13 distance, and $25 for the 5 miler. Both races start at 10am.   This race is currently capped at 125 entrants, with a waitlist. There will be NO day of registration. Prizes will be given to overall and age group winners. We will be pouring beer from Sheepscot Brewing and cider from Tin Top and plan on having some snack food for sale. Limited number of long sleeve technical shirts will be available for purchase day of. There are no refunds or transfers.
