_ The 2022 Spook Hill Cider & Wine 4 Mile Run:
Spook Hill is back in its full glory for 2022. We'll be using the scenic, traditional 4-mile hybrid road/XC course that winds through historic Burkittsville (yes, the Blair Witch town), Boordy's South Mountain Vineyard, historic Burkittsville Union Cemetery, and the Distillery Lane Ciderworks' orchard. Traditionally, we've sold out, so registering early is recommended! Visit the participating wineries/cideries/eateries on the Spook Hill Tasting Trail after your run. DLC, Antietam Creek Vineyards, Orchid Cellar, and Willow Oaks will all be offering specials for our participants - your race bib will have ticket stubs for redemption. Overland Timing is providing timing services. Accolades: Spook Hill was named by Competitor.com in 2014 as a "Must Do" fall race in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The race has been featured by Runner's World Magazine in 2015 and 2018! Join us in 2022 to see what you've been missing!
Race Date:
Saturday, October 15, 2022. We will meet or exceed any CDC, state, or local covid mitigation requirements in effect on race day.
