_ The 2022 River's Edge Endurance Challenge:

***To be sure you get a T-Shirt you must Register before 9/24/2022. If you register after 9/23/2022 11:59PM you may not have an option to choose a FREE shirt.  ***Race Medals must be ordered ahead of time. Those who register after 9/01/2022 may not get a medal due to limited supplies. 1) Simply sign up for an in person race, show up at race, check in and race in our 4th Annual River's Edge Endurance Challenge! We have a 5 mile race, a 3-hour challenge, and a 6-hour challenge. Here is a link to a map of our in person race.

TIME:
-Early packet pick up will be at Smoketown Brewing Station on Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, from 6 PM - 7:30 PM. First pint of beer is only $4 for REEC racers!
-In person Race Sign in for all races is 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM on Saturday, October 22, 2022.
-Random drawings for free gifts is 8:45 AM.
-ALL RACEs STARTS AT 9:00 AM

LOCATION:
In Person, the lower practice fields in between Brunswick High School and Brunswick Middle School.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
We have a 2.5 mile trail section that is completely marked with signage within the River's Edge Trails that we've then extended onto the Brunswick High School's property to get a total of a 5 mile loop for race day.

ENTRANCE FEE:
5 MILE Run - $25 2/1/2022 to 3/31/2022, and then $30 3/1/2022 to Race Day
3-HOUR Run - $35 2/1/2022 to 3/31/2022 and then $45 3/1/2022 to Race Day
6-HOUR Run - $45 2/1/2022 to 3/31/2022 and then $55 3/1/2022 to Race Day ONLINE REGISTRATION:

Online registration is open through Oct. 22, 2022, up to race sign in deadline at 8:30 AM.
All registered in person runners and walkers will receive a T-Shirt, unique REEC Finisher medal and other giveaways on race day.

PRIZES: Gift Cards to Two River Treads will be awarded via random drawing--two gift certificates per race! 

The River's Edge Endurance Challenge is sponsored by the Brunswick High School Athletic Boosters, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), and as such serves as a fundraiser for the Brunswick High School Track and Field program. All Monies raised by this event will be dedicated to the purchase of much needed equipment which is not otherwise funded by Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS). All donations and registration fees are fully tax deductible.
