_ The 2022 Bozeman Marathon and Half Marathon:

EVENTS: Sunday, September 11: Full Marathon (7 AM start) and Half Marathon (8 AM start) Visit the Bozeman Marathon website for more information! COURSE: The Bozeman Marathon is an incredibly scenic course showcasing some of our area's most stunning attributes. You'll run through beautiful Gallatin Valley, crossing over rivers, and running by open farmland with views of the Bridger Mountains. You'll finish in historic downtown Bozeman where we'll have refreshments and awards for top finishers. You don't want to miss this unique tour of Bozeman, Montana! If you're traveling from out of state, be sure to extend your trip to enjoy the beautiful Yellowstone National Park. COURSE TIME LIMIT: You have 6.5 hours to complete the full and half marathon events. The course officially closes after this time. RACE CAP: There is a cap on registration that is less than previous years. We highly recommend registering early. We anticipate our events to sell out before race weekend.  HALF & FULL MARATHON SHUTTLES: All registered runners for the full and half marathon events are required to take the bus shuttle to the start line. There is no available parking at any start lines. Bus shuttles pick up on Main Street in downtown Bozeman. Shuttle times are indicated on the race website. AID STATIONS: All stations are cupless. Aid is placed every 3-4 miles along the Marathon & Half Marathon courses.  REFUND POLICY: Refunds are not offered for this event. Deferrals are taken on a case by case basis and are not guaranteed. In the event that Bozeman Marathon events are forced to shut down by requirements issued by the Gallatin County Health Department or State of Montana, or weather-related events such as wildfires, no refunds will be offered. By registering for a Bozeman Marathon event, you hereby acknowledge this financial risk.  FIRE/SMOKE POLICY: We will follow the Montana Department of Environmental Quality measurements to make decisions regarding race day. While Montana does have a fire season, Bozeman is usually fortunate in that air quality is usually not compromised thanks to our higher elevation and distance from active fires. However, if air quality reaches an unhealthy level, race officials reserve the right to cancel the event. In previous years, we have not had to cancel the race.
