Love of a Horse Ocala 5K benefits the Foundation for the Horse, a group with over 25 years dedicated to improving the welfare of horses through education and research.

Through education, research, and benevolence, The Foundation for the Horse seeks a world in which every horse, everywhere, has a healthy and productive life.

We have added a new VIRTUAL REGISTRATION in light of the OMICRON varient
You can join us in supporting the Foundation for the Horse from anywhere in the country! Run your own 5K course and upload your time to Its Your Race by March 10, 2022. Packets including your race tshirt and medal will be sent out AFTER February 10, 2022 if you select optional shipping for $10

LOCATION: The Equine Medical Center of Ocala, 7107 West Highway 326, Ocala, FL 34482
RACE DAY STARTING TIME is 8am
PACKET PICKUP- Friday, February 3th from 4pm-6pm and Saturday, February 4th from 6:30am-7:45am at the Equine Medical Center of Ocala

Race entry fees are:
$30 until Jan 14,2023 at midnight
$35 Jan 15, 2023 until Feb 3, 2022 at 9am when online registration closes
$40 race day
NEW and SPECIAL for 2022 are womens shirt sizes! The ladies shirt is a black v-neck with a feminine 1/4 sleeve!
You will be guaranteed a shirt if you enter by Jan 14, 2023 midnight

FUN ADDITION FOR 2022: KID DASH TO FOLLOW THE COMPLETION OF THE 5K!

RACE DAY PRECAUTIONS: The race start area is wide open and generally considered safe in terms of COVID. However, you may socially distance as you feel comforatable. The race is NOT A CHIP START so if you wait to cross the start line, you will be running a slower time. AWARDS are based on GUN TIME. An awards ceremony will be conducted post race if conditions permit it. RESULTS are always live online so you may view them from the comfort of your home if you decide to leave after completing your run.

Awards will be presented to the top Male and Female overall and Masters! The top THREE age group winners, M/F in 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64 and 65 and Over. AWARDS WILL NOT BE MAILED OUT BUT YOU MAY PICK THEM UP DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS.
