_The 2023 IRIS Run for Refugees:

Run/Walk in person: Join us on Super Bowl Sunday, February 12, for a flat 5K run/walk through New Haven's East Rock neighborhood!

 Virtual run option: If you don't feel comfortable joining us in-person, run, walk, or bike a 5k in your neighborhood, on your treadmill, or wherever you like! 

Go the extra mile for refugees! Create an individual or team fundraiser to support IRIS' services to help refugees with housing, healthcare, job placement, education, and much more. We've already welcomed 370+ Afghan evacuees and are committed to welcoming 600 in 2022, the most IRIS has ever resettled in one year. Sign up to help us welcome new Americans from Afghanistan and all over the world. 

Registration includes our iconic Run for Refugees T-shirt. We want to see you rock your Run for Refugees gear across Connecticut and the country! Tag us in your photos and videos and we’ll feature you on social media.

The course runs entirely through the scenic neighborhood of East Rock. The flat course begins and finishes at Wilbur Cross High School.
