Join us for the annual Running Wild 7K Trail Run and 1mile LIFE Hike on Saturday, June 10 2023 at Maplewood State Park!

Maplewood State Park offers more than 9,000 acres of tree-covered hills, including clear lakes nestled in deep valleys, hardwood forests, wild flowers, a variety of wild life and 25 miles of hiking trails.

If you are up for a challenge or just want to enjoy nature at its finest; reserve your spot on the starting line today!

The Running Wild course navigates through the beautiful, but challenging terrain of northwest Minnesota. There are two race options a 7K trail run or a 1mile LIFE Hike. Running Wild Trail Run is a family friendly event. Kid's Run WILD is a 200 yard dash for kids ages 5-7 and WEE RUN WILD is for our youngest runners ages 4 & under!!  There is a race for everyone! 

The 7K terrain includes some uneven ground, lots of mini-hills, a gravel road, moderately challenging hills and the rigorous Ironwood Trail Hill. The 1mile LIFE Hike is an out and back course.
