2012 Discover the Preserve 5K Run:

  • Runners that register on or before April 1, 2012 will be guaranteed a 100% Cotton T-shirt.
  • Race day shirts will be on a first come-first serve basis.
  • Medals will be provided to age group winners.
  • All members of the New Port Richey Rec. Center will recieve a $5.00 discount off the 5k run/walk.

  • The 5k run is run entirely in the Preserve.
  • Runners will run over mulched trails, boardwalk and shell road.
  • Much of the course runs along the beautiful undeveloped Cottee River.

  • The day is filled with fun-filled events all at the park for the Anniversary of James E. Grey and the N.P.R. Aquatic Center.
