On Saturday, May 19th, runners will blast off on 5K and 10K runs through Briscoe Park and surrounding neighborhoods. Sponsored by the Snellville Rotary Club and the Snellville Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, these runs will be in addition to a 1 mile Fitness Fun Run for kids complete with bulging goodie bags, kid friendly characters, and a fun fitness warm up.

The Fun Run is for kids ages 7 through 12, while the 5K and the 10K runs are designed for runners aged 13 and older. Prizes will be awarded and each participant will receive a t-shirt.
Registration/Check-in will begin at 7:00 am just inside the Briscoe Park main gate. The 10K begins at 8:00 am and the 5K starts at 9:00 am. A Fun Run Fun Warm-up begins at 9:45 am and the Fun Run itself begins at 10:00 am. All entrants must be registered and checked in at least 30 minutes before the start of their event.
