Description
Come join the Orlando Runners Club for our 7th Annual Race Into Summer 5K at Jay Blanchard Park on Dean Road in Orlando. All proceeds to benefit the Club's general fund and the Urayasu Exchange Program Fund.
The 5K race starts at 7:30 am. The Kids' Fun Run starts at 8:30 am and is free to all children. The Awards Presentation starts at 8:45 am.
Awards will be given to the top three male and female overall finishers, and three deep in each age group. (10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
Course Info
The course is an out and back along the paved trail in the park that runs along the Little Econ River.
Directions
Tha park entrance is 2451 N. Dean Road, which is 1 mile north of E. State Road 50, in Orlando, Florida. Parking is available inside the park.
Other Info
All 5K participants receive a tech shirt. All participants are eligible for prizes and refreshments will be provided after the race.
Post-race party begins at 9:30 am at Mellow Mushroom, located at 11680 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando. All runners get one free beverage/beer and the Club will provide pizzas.
