Event Description:

The 2012 Fight For Air Run/Walk 5k in downtown Fort Lauderdale's Huizenga Plaza is a chance for families, individuals and teams join together in raising awareness and funds for the 35 million Americans who suffer from lung disease. The Saturday, October 6^th race is a professionally timed 5k, however participants may also choose to simply walk the route and enjoy the riverfront and downtown scenery!

Join the American Lung Association for more than a morning workout; come enjoy music, food, and family friendly activities like a bounce house and face painting!  All proceeds from the Fight For Air Run/Walk go to local research, education and advocacy programs that help the American Lung Association save lives by fighting lung disease and improving lung health.

$10 Spectator Registration

(Spectators are friends and family members of registered participants that wish to attend the event and show their support!  Spectators will be able to enjoy any food and entertainment provided at the event but will not receive event t-shirts!)
