Description

2012 Heart Center of the Rockies Half Marathon, 10K & 5K:

  • Half Marathon starts at Heart Center of the Rockies Medical Center of the Rockies Campus (finishes in Boyd Lake State Park), we will shuttle back from finish to start.
  • Drop bags at Half start will be transported to finish.
  • All other events:10k/5k and Healthy Kids runs are all start/finish at Boyd Lake State park main swim beach pavilion.
    • Course Info

    The Half Marathon starts in the High Plains Environmental Learning Center (across the street from the Hospital).
    Runs 1.5 laps around ponds, both both dirt path and concrete path available (about 5.5 miles).
    Head out onto Boyd Lake Road heading north, around Boyd Lake on County Roads, turning South onto bike path, stay on bike path, running along West side of Boyd Lake and finish at the Swim Beach.
