Description

2012 South Park 5K Road Race:

  • On Saturday, September 15, 2012 the 15th annual South Park 5K Road Race and Fitness Walk will take place at the University of Connecticut Health Center.
  • Registration will begin at 7 a.m. and the race will begin at 9 a.m.
  • The proceeds from the race benefit the UConn School of Medicine Outreach Clinic at the South Park Inn, which provides free primary care medical services to the transient residents of South Park Inn Shelter located in Hartford, CT.
  • The free clinic is run by medical students and local physician volunteers.
  •   It will be a fun-filled day with music and snacks provided.
