2012 Goblin Games Haunted 5k/1 Mile Walk:

New Fitness Goblin Games 5K Run/Walk with 1 mile Fun run for kids for the The Lyric/Ozark Arts Council!!

WE CURRENTLY NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP FACILITATE THIS AWESOME FUND RAISER! IF INTERESTED, PLEASE CONTACT EVENT COORDINATOR TRACY RHYMER [email protected].

The Run will start around dusk (6:00) at High School Parking lot.

More information to comeWe will be looking for businesses to sponsor sections of the race by decorating and making that section haunted.

Runners will get to vote on which business had the best "haunting" and all sponsorship spots profits go to The Lyric/Ozark Arts CounselPeople can enter the race as a runner or a haunting spirits/Goblins.

Haunting Spirits/Goblins spots are limited.

Runner $25 (Can pay on website) Gouls $20 Spaces limited

Participants for 5K Receive: T-shirt One-free pass for the family fun Run ($5 per extra family member who would like to run the family fun run with participant) 1 mile Fun Run $10 for runners/walkers who only wish to do the fun run and are not a family member of a 5K participant.

Looking for volunteers for make-up artists, set designers, parking attendants, event attendants, etc.

Award for top 3 male and top 3 femaleSponsorships

To haunt, a section of the race, sponsorships are $100.00. Sponsors to receive Name as a valued sponsor on shirts Name as a valued sponsor on the New Fitness website Name as a valued sponsor at starting line Sponsors will be given an open area to haunt. Sponsors will need to make creatively scary sign to be displayed at their designated haunting spotAward for most "haunting" business and award for most creative "haunt"1 mile Family Fun Runthe family can have access to the last mile run to run with the participant.

This last mile will be a more "kid friendly" attraction.

$10 individual tickets for family fun run $5 tickets to run the last mile with a participant who is running in the 5Klooking for school clubs who might want to set up booths for fundraising for their clubs such as: cake walks, concessions, dunk tanks, fun kid/carnival games.

Course Info

The race will begin in the Faculty Parking lot of the High School and will wind its way past the middle school, towards the Goblin Stadium, around the stadium track, then down Burls Way, around the McCoy/Gladden Loop, and back towards the Middle School and will finish at the High School.
