WHAT: 10K and 5K Walk /Run Event beginning at the Soledad Mission and ending at the Mission, running through the rural community.

WHERE: Race begins and ends at the Soledad Mission. Please show participant info sheet for map.

Who is hosting: The Soledad-Mission Recreation District & The Soledad Recreation Foundation

WHEN: Sunday, October 7:

Race DAY REGISTRATION: 8-8:45

Pr-Registered Check in: 8:45 AM,

Race begins at 9:30 Am.

WHY: To raise money for recreational programming and opportunities n Soledad, hosting a variety of fundraisers to offset the growing difference between costs and income, and avoiding program fee increases

Course Info

Start at Mission Road, turn left on Foothill Road, Turn left on Colony Road, right on Fort Romie Costa Farm Road, then left onto Private Road 2 Fort Romie Road, then right back on Foothill Road, right onto Mission take Headley road to finish(10K). (5K) is Start at Mission Road, Turn left onto foothill Road until turn around point then back foothill Road, right on Mission Road follow Headley Road to finish.
Rough Road also a working road so its not a closed course.

Directions

Directions to Soledad Mission is take hwy 101, take Arroyo Seco Road Exit on the right for 1 mile then turn right onto Fort Romie Road (1.3 miles), The Mission will be on your left. Or take River Road from Salinas, Gonzales, or Chular stay on that road turn right, stay on river road until it turns into Fort Romie Road(16.9 miles).
