YMCA Camp Oakes is hosting their 1st Duathlon, 5k and Kids dash on November 3rd!
All the races will have top 3 placement with medals.
There will be finisher medals!
Come out with friends and with family. Now this is the best part about it..... We will have weekend accommodations available.
$100 Per person for weekend accommodations (in addition to race fee)
$100 Includes....
- Housing (Friday & Saturday Night)
- Meals (Friday Dinner - Sunday Lunch)
- Saturday "Kids Camp" for all children (5 - 12 years of age)
- Camp Observatory Open (Friday & Saturday Night)
- Climbing Wall Open (Saturday afternoon & Sunday Morning)

Course Info
Come out and enjoy what Big Bear City has to offer.
You can race in our Arctic Duathlon (1.5mi Run, 6mi Bike, 2mi Run) and enjoy our scenic trail run and mountain bike route.
If Duathlons are not your thing, it is ok! We are also hosting our Polar Bear 5K at 9:00am which sends you through a portion of our camp.
Lastly, we are hosting a kids run known as the Penguin Dash! It is a 1 mile loop throughout the program areas and camp.
