Produced in its third year by the Long Beach Triathlon club, this is the triathlon run by triathletes.

Tri-Carson is an awesome race because it is both a very newbie friendly race (last year 42% of the triathletes marked Tri-Carson as their first triathlon ever) and it is great for those speed demons who put the sprint in sprint triathlon with some awesome fully closed very fast down hill bike routes on the closed streets of Carson, CA.

The triathlon is welcoming to all participants of all levels.  Our fastest triathlete finished the race in just over 58 minutes and our final finisher did the race in a little over 2 12 hours.  Our youngest triathlete was 13 and our oldest was 88.

All races for the 3rd Tri-Carson will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills and surrounding streets in Carson.  This is a fun safe closed course great for triathletes and runners of all levels and ages.

At Tri-Carson there is always a place for you at the finish line!

Course Info

Closed Course on the campus of California State University Domiguez Hills and Surrounding Streets of Carson CA

A great course that is both newbie friendly and fun for the experienced triathlete who puts the "sprint" in sprint triathlon.

A fully closed course it is on the campus of CSUDH and the surrounding streets of Carson, CA.  This course is closed to traffic and is an exceptional new race.

The run is two loops through the beautiful campus of CSUDH being cheered on by the local co-eds, Torro Cheerleaders and and CSUDH Dance Team.  Not a flat course, but not to hilly either, just enough to challenge the newbie and sprinter alike.

The Bike is 3 1/2 loops around the campus and down some fast tree lined closed streets in the awesome city of Carson.

The Swim is 6 laps in a pool.  150 meters and the great thing about a reverse sprint is you finish all refreshed from the swim.  And to add to that we give you an awesome beach towel at the finish line along with your finisher medal (with a special feature that will make it your favorite medal and something you will use especially at weekend parties!)

A great finish line festival with DJ and a party atmosphere that brings the community together like no other race.  Join us for this awesome race.
