Be part of the FIRST race in the Peace-Love-Run Series! Flashback to the 60s, a time when Hendrix and The Beatles ruled!  Its a chance to have a blast with family and friends while snagging a retro inspired VW bus medal!  A mercifully flat course offers views of the bay, sailboats and the city skyline.  The paved route includes a pass around the USS Recruit, a "dummy" ship used to train recruits. Theres an incline over Halsey Bridge and becomes flat on the other side as athletes stride along the shoreline at Spanish Landing.

Join other Go-Go gals, funky dudes and flower children in celebration of peace and love at the finish line with refreshments and music. The celebration continues with a short walk to the Head to Toe Expo at the Liberty Station Event Center. The expo offers speakers on fitness, culinary samples, unique shopping, a fashion show and more! Race participants receive complimentary admission to the Expo on Saturday for packet pick-up and on Sunday after the race.

Because runners love to support the community, we'll be collecting canned goods for the San Diego Food Bank and gently used evening wear for the Princess Project for teens in need to wear to prom. For more details, visit www.Peace-Love-Run.com
